Route Napoleon - a Drive following Napoleon’s landing back in France in Golfe-Juan - Use a Car and allow about 1/2 day

Grand Canyon du Verdon.  A 26 Km long spectacular  canyon which rates a  3* “must see” from Michelin Guide

Iles des Lerins.  Islands in the bay. Take a boat from the harbour.  Ste Marguerite is a favourite. With its exotic vegetation of Eucalyptus and Pines. It was here that the Man in the Iron Mask was imprisoned (Read more here)

Grasse.  Centre of the world’s perfume industry. Go on a visit and see how perfume is made.

The Corniches.  Magnificient roads starting at Nice and going past Monte-Carlo into Italy.

Italy.  Just  a short drive or athe direct train from Golfe-Juan takes you to Italy.  Ventimilgia on Fridays has a huge market.     When hiring a car check it can be taken to Italy as you may need to give notice.

Monaco. Another easy and popular day trip - You can go by car train or bus.

Trophée des Alpes & Eze.  A Combined day trip.  A huge Roman ruin plus a lovely hilltop town close by.   Best by car although you can do this by bus.

Villa Ephrussi Rothschild and Villa Kerylos on Cap Ferat
Drive out and have lunch by the harbour in Beaulieu sur Mer.  Then go on to visit the gardens and House of Villa Ephrussi Rothschild and the recreated Greek Classical Villa Kerylos .
